Brian Coffman
Retired President and CEO, Motiva Enterprises
Brian Coffman serves on the Imubit Advisory Board. He brings more than 40 years of experience to the role, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of Motiva Enterprises LLC. Before Motiva, he was Senior Vice President, Refining, at Andeavor (formerly Tesoro) from 2013 to 2017, where he led the operation of 10 refineries across the western United States.
Brian began his career with Conoco in 1983, completing a formal Management Development Program designed to develop the company's future leaders. At Conoco he served in a range of roles and locations, including:
- Upgrader General Manager and executive committee member at Petrozuata, a joint venture between Conoco and PDVSA in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela
- President, ConocoPhillips Pipeline, Houston, Texas
- General Manager, Bayway Refinery, Linden, New Jersey
- General Manager, Humber Refinery, and lead UK executive, United Kingdom
He has served on numerous boards and executive committees, including the Motiva Board of Directors, the Board and Executive Committee of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), the Board of the American Petroleum Institute and the Board of the Greater Houston Partnership.
After high school, Brian served in the United States Air Force and the active Utah Air National Guard from 1975 to 1983. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Brigham Young University in 1982 and an MBA from Utah State University in 1983.
