Control

Control the key decisions, every minute

Imubit's AI controllers execute the key recurring decisions in closed loop, on top of your APC and DCS, deterministic, certified by your engineers and always inside the envelope they set.

Control is where the decisions get executed. AI controllers take the key recurring decisions behind your gaps, and steer them around the clock, minute by minute, to maximize your objectives inside your constraints, through your existing APC and DCS. Reinforcement learning trains them across every regime the unit has run, millions of simulations and thousands of simulated years, before anything reaches the plant. What ships to the plant is a deterministic controller your engineers can certify and validate.

It does not hallucinate. Given the same inputs, it gives the same move, to every person, every time. Closed loop always runs inside the envelope your engineers set. And every gap you close is measured, continuously, against the plan.

What Control gives you

  • The key recurring decisions executed, around the clock
  • Deterministic controllers your engineers certify
  • Always inside the envelope your engineers set

Imubit has over 100 closed-loop controllers deployed worldwide.

Common questions

Questions about Control.

Let’s get started
What does Control actually decide?

The key recurring decisions behind the gaps Map found, executed around the clock through your APC and DCS, within the limits your engineers set. Not every decision needs closed loop. The plan from Map sets which ones go first.

How Map works
What does reinforcement learning add?

It learns a path, not just the next step. Trained in simulation across every regime the unit has run, the controller learns the sequence of moves that reaches the best operating point for the whole unit, rather than settling at the nearest good one. Imubit has over 100 closed-loop controllers deployed worldwide.

How is a controller certified before it runs?

It is trained and tested in simulation first. What ships is deterministic: your engineers validate and certify it before it writes a move, and the same inputs give the same move on every shift.

Does closed loop ever run through a language model?

No. Closed loop runs on the certified deterministic controller, on-premise inside your plant network. Language models and agents can ask the model questions, but they never touch the controls.

What happens when the plan or the unit changes?

Controllers are retrained and certified again before they run, and your operators can take a controller off at any time.

Where to start

Find out what your gap to plan is costing you.

  • One to two hours for your team to prepare and upload the data package

  • Results within a few working days of approval

  • No workshops

Send your data as it is. Gaps, outages and noisy tags are normal, and our engineers screen and clean them in the platform. If anything limits a use case, we tell you.
