Autonomy comes in steps, with experts in charge

Plants will not jump to full autonomy. It comes in steps, with domain experts, deterministic plant models and generative AI working together.

Industrial autonomy will not arrive all at once. It comes in steps, and at every step people stay in charge of the decisions that matter: the objectives, the limits and when a controller runs.

Where plants are today

Most recurring decisions in a plant are still made by people, with AI assisting them. Closed loop already runs on selected decisions: Imubit has over 100 closed-loop controllers deployed worldwide, each one running inside limits set by the engineers of the unit it runs on.

Each step depends on the one before it. A plant cannot hand a decision to a system it cannot check, so trust in the models comes first.

Three parts, one result

Human domain experts, deterministic plant models and generative AI each do what they do best. Experts set the objectives and the limits. Deterministic models answer what a change will do, the same way every time. Generative AI helps people ask questions of those models and act on the answers in plain language. Closed loop runs on the certified controller, never through a language model.

Together they give better plant performance than any of the three alone.

Where to start

Find out what your gap to plan is costing you.

  • One to two hours for your team to prepare and upload the data package

  • Results within a few working days of approval

  • No workshops

Send your data as it is. Gaps, outages and noisy tags are normal, and our engineers screen and clean them in the platform. If anything limits a use case, we tell you.
